Abstract:
Aquatic invasive species distribution for Montana lakes compiled and maintained by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP). Data are extrapolated from survey data collected by Montana FWP, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, US National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Bureau of Reclamation, and US Geological Survey.
Purpose:
Aquatic invasive species distribution for Montana lakes compiled and maintained by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP) for the display and analysis of species presence. Data are extrapolated from survey data collected by Montana FWP, Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, US National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, US Forest Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Bureau of Reclamation, and US Geological Survey from 2005 - 2020. Species considered AIS in Montana: Red Belly Pacu, Goldfish, Plains Killifish, Mosquitofish, Sailfin Molly, Shortfin Molly, VariablePlatyfish, Grass Carp, Pacu, Green Swordtail, Curlyleaf pondweed, Eurasian watermilfoil, Flowering rush, Fragrant waterlilly, New Zealand mudsnail, Quagga mussel, Zebra mussel, Asian clam, Faucet snail, Red-rim melania, Magnificent bryozoan, Rusty crayfish, Chinese mysterysnail, Starry stonewort
